I go look at food porn. http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/photo/Open-Face-Ham-Cheddar-and-Apple-Butter-Sandwiches-230932 http://www.epocurious.com is for me what godsgirls.com or suicidegirls.com is for most folks, (well, myself included). Lavish recipies, of yummy food i can only hope to make. I think i’ll go make whats left of the fishsticks in the freezer.

Talking of Tank Engines - or- How to hook your kid...
Had a short conversation with Rob about his son, Ryan, who's 3rd Birthday is today.
Meg: so what kinda b-day cake are you going to have today?
gallandhomes: Thomas the tank engine!
Meg: WOOO! My lil bro loved Thomas when he was wee. I Watched it all the time with him. WHo is the better conductor? Ringo Star or George Carlin?
gallandhomes: George!
Meg: high5
after thomas, i think the next craze was actually watching yellow submarine over and over and over and over, and Lion King...then it was Star Wars, all the way
though we had stints of watching Space Jam in there too, Oh and winnie the Pooh, though that was when he was younger
gallandhomes: We see pooh. Cars, madagascar. I wonder if star wars will ever hit. Different time. He likes sports.
Meg: yeah well, different time period than my lil bro, what kinda sports is he diggin on? basket ball? AirBud is a good one for that.
dogs + Basketball = win
easy way to get him started on Star Wars is the animated series.
Clone Wars *laughs
gallandhomes: :).
It's like trying to introduce crack to your kid. You gotta do it easy, and in easy to swallow doses.
or...something.
